Derek Fontenot

Derek Fontenot joined the Dwight Andrus Insurance team in 2022 as a Commercial Lines Producers in our Lafayette office. He graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and has over five years of insurance experience prior to joining Dwight Andrus. Derek is also a military veteran, having served in the United States Marine Corps and the Louisiana Army National Guard.

Outside of the office, he enjoys hunting, motocross, and fitness. Derek and his wife have three children and live in Lafayette.

Richie Falgout

Consultant

Richie Falgout joined Dwight Andrus Insurance in 2011 and serves as a Commercial Lines Producer. His primary responsibility is to obtain the best possible coverage for clients during negotiations with insurance companies. Richie focuses on tailoring insurance programs based on analysis of client operations, exposures, markets and claims. He is also dedicated to working with clients to select the most cost-effective program without sacrificing coverage needs.

Richie earned the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC, a nationally recognized premier education program for insurance professionals). He graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2010 with a degree in Business Management.

Born and raised in Lafayette, Richie enjoyed playing as a wide receiver for the UL Ragin’ Cajuns from 2006 – 2010. His love for his alma mater also led him to contribute his time as the Color Analyst for all of UL’s football games from 2015 – 2017. Richie and his wife, Meagan Fogleman Falgout, have two sons, Aiden and Madden, and two daughters Monroe and Maeve Falgout. In his spare time, Richie enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with his family and volunteering in the community.

Henri Hebert

Vice President of Personal Lines

Henri Hebert joined Dwight Andrus Insurance in 2021 as Vice President of Personal Lines. In his role, he provides personal insurance solutions, including Private Client, homeowners, auto, and umbrella insurance, to name a few. He also oversees the Personal Lines team in Lafayette.

Henri graduated in Insurance and Risk Management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2005 and has over 10 years of insurance experience.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, outdoor activities, and supporting UL Ragin’ Cajun athletics.

Henri and his wife, Justine, have two sons, Henri Jr. and Jean-Luc, and they reside in Lafayette.

Gunner Leger

Gunner Leger graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science General Studies with minors in Business and Kinesiology. When he’s not at the office, he enjoys giving pitching lessons and running around with his dog.

Andrew "A.T." Emery

Andrew “A.T.” Emery graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management with a minor in Finance from Louisiana Tech University in 2015. He is the Shreveport Ducks Unlimited Chairman and enjoys hunting, fishing, and cooking in his spare time. A.T. and his wife, Becca, have an 8-month-old son named Drew.

Kris Pierce

Consultant

Kris Pierce joined Dwight Andrus Insurance in 2014 and serves as a Personal Lines Production Manager. His responsibilities include bringing in new business and increasing sales through cross-selling of personal lines insurance products.

Kris graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2002, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management. Prior to joining Dwight Andrus, he gained three years of experience working as an insurance agent for Farm Bureau insurance.

Kris is happily married to Lora Pierce and the couple has two children – Molly and Hayes. He volunteers his time teaching youth as a coach for LA Storm Baseball. In his spare time, Kris enjoys hunting, golf, softball and spending time with family and friends.

Reed G. Andrus

Treasurer

Reed G. Andrus began his career in the real estate development and investment business in 1981 after having earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now UL Lafayette). His career experience for over 30 years has qualified him in many diverse professional real estate disciplines including project development, asset management, investment, finance, brokerage, consulting and property leasing and management.

Erroll “Charlie” Babineaux, Jr.

Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer

Charlie Babineaux joined Dwight Andrus Insurance Agency in 2005 and serves as Vice President of Sales and as a Commercial Sales Executive. He holds the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Risk Manager. Charlie is a native of New Iberia, Louisiana and has spent most of his life in the Acadiana area. He is a graduate of Catholic High School and went on to attend the University of Mississippi as a student athlete where he received a relevant and rigorous education from the Risk Management and Insurance (RIM) program. Upon graduation, he spent multiple seasons in the San Francisco Giants organization as a professional baseball player.

Dwight Andrus IV

President and Chief Executive Officer

Dwight W. Andrus, IV brings over 15 years of insurance brokerage service experience to his positions as Producer, President and CEO of Dwight Andrus Insurance. He began working at Dwight Andrus during his high school years and continued working summers during college in an effort to gain a better perspective on the various aspects of the insurance brokerage business.

Having served in every division of the company, Dwight is well prepared to lead the company forward through the fourth generation of Dwight Andrus Insurance.

Dwight joined the company in a full-time capacity in 2006, immediately after earning his Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. Dwight remains dedicated to his industry as an active member of industry organizations such as the Council for Insurance Agents and Brokers, Independent Insurance Agents of Louisiana and Professional Insurance Agents of Acadiana. Dwight also routinely serves on insurance carrier panels and councils.

Dwight Andrus III

Chairman of the Board

Dwight W. Andrus, III brings more than 47 years of experience and expertise in insurance brokerage services to his position as CEO and Chairman of the Board. Over the past 38 years, Dwight and his brother David have guided the company through a remarkable period of growth and success. What began as a small insurance agency in 1945 has since grown to become one of Louisiana’s largest independent insurance agencies. Today, Dwight Andrus Insurance employs a staff of more than 100 professionals at four locations – and has grown 20-fold in revenue since 1983.

Jimmy Fontenot

Consultant

Jimmy Fontenot serves as the Manager/Producer of the Rayne location of Dwight Andrus Insurance. His responsibilities include managing office personnel, consulting with clients about their insurance needs, handling claims and sales of personal and commercial lines of insurance.

Jimmy has more than three decades of experience in the insurance industry. He entered the industry upon joining the Fontenot Insurance Agency in 1981- and went on to purchase the agency in 1998. In 2010 his agency merged with Dwight Andrus Insurance – at which time Jimmy assumed his current position at the company.

In 1977, Jimmy graduated from Notre Dame High School and went on to graduate from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now UL-Lafayette) in 1981 – earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In addition, he received CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 1995 and has maintained his certification to the present day.

Jimmy married Norellie Mcfalls in 1981 and the couple has three children – Kyle, Tyler and Kayla. They are also the proud grandparents of four lovely granddaughters – Tate, Sullivan, London and Jules as well as two grand boys Fischer and Graham. Jimmy is a Charter Member of the Rotary Club of Rayne and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1897 in Rayne. He was also elected to the District 4 Rayne City Council – taking office January 1, 2015 and was unopposed for 2019 term. In addition, he served eight years on the Board of Directors for Independent Insurance Agents of Louisiana.

Parker Stough

Consultant

Parker Stough was born in Shreveport, Louisiana where he worked on his family’s 3rd generation farm and learned much about the insurance industry from his parents. In 2007, he moved to Lafayette to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to pursue his career studying Finance, Insurance and Risk Management. Here, he met his wife Heather in English class and they resided in Lafayette for 13 years.

He entered the Insurance Industry upon graduating from UL and began to develop as a producer at a local insurance agency. Through these early years, Parker developed strong relationships with insurance carriers across the country that have proven vital in helping him secure his clients the best program options available.

Parker joined Dwight Andrus Insurance in 2013 where he secured the position of a lead producer helping clients nationwide develop Insurance and Risk Management programs for a variety of industries. In 2020 Parker became the Market President of Dwight Andrus Shreveport by founding a new branch in the Ark-La-Tex region.

Parker specializes in hard-to-place Property and Casualty programs. His primary focus is Healthcare, Transportation, Oil & Gas, Construction, and Habitational. He understands that every risk is unique and thus utilizes many tools to build the perfect program for each client, including First Dollar Insurance, Large Deductible / Retention Programs, Group and Single Parent Captive programs, and Self-Insurance Programs.

In 2019 The Stough’s welcomed their son Parker Webb Stough and this year grew their family with the addition of Harris Gentry Stough.

Recreationally, he enjoys golf, carpentry, hunting, and fishing. He is always open to learning something new and enjoys a good challenge. He is also involved in many professional and community organizations including the PIA, IIABA, LMTA, and the Krewe of Bonaparte.

Phillip Garzotto

Chief Financial Officer

Phil Garzotto joined Dwight Andrus Insurance in 1996 to serve as Chief Financial Officer. He is a Certified Public Accountant with a broad range of responsibilities including managing all areas of accounting, financial reporting and analysis, manager of internal audit, ensuring regulatory compliance, asset and structure mergers and acquisitions.

Mark C. Andrus

General Counsel

Mark Andrus joined the Dwight Andrus Companies as General Counsel in 2005. He has broad experience in the practice of business transactional law and litigation, insurance and insurance law and commercial real estate transactions and leasing.

Peggy Sargent

Vice President of Marketing

After attending the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL), Peggy began her career in the banking industry and then began working in the insurance industry at Allstate insurance. She obtained her insurance license in 1976 and joined Dwight Andrus Insurance in June of 1978.

David Andrus

Vice-Chairman and Chief Technology Information Officer

David W. Andrus draws upon more than thirty years of knowledge and experience in insurance brokerage services in serving as the CTIO of Dwight Andrus Insurance. David attended Louisiana State University before joining the company in 1986 with a focus on personal lines insurance sales.

In addition to his responsibilities at the insurance agency, David has become increasingly active in providing executive leadership and planning for our sister company – Dwight Andrus Real Estate.

During the late 1980’s, he added IT support to his skills and responsibilities – and went on to assume a more active role in executive management of the company in the early 1990’s. Along with his brother, Dwight, David has played an integral role in growing Dwight Andrus Insurance into one of the largest independent insurance agencies in the state of Louisiana.

Russell Brown

Consultant

Russell Brown joined Dwight Andrus in March of 2018 as a commercial producer focusing on Property and Casualty insurance while also holding his license in Life and Health Insurance.

Russ graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in General Business in 2014. Following his undergraduate studies, Russ completed his Master of Business Administration degree in 2017 at the LSU Flores MBA program. While attending LSU’s MBA program, Russ worked as a graduate assistant on the LSU men’s basketball team for two years where his responsibilities included breaking down film for individual players and coaches, assisting in game preparation and analysis, and facilitating player development. Upon graduation from LSU’s Flores MBA Program, Russ served as an assistant basketball coach for Notre Dame in Crowley. He is pursuing his financial security licenses via the series 66 & 7 examinations.

In his free time Russ enjoys playing golf, coaching basketball, traveling, watching sporting events with friends and spending time with his family.

Brandt Etier

Vice President of Property and Casualty Sales

A native of Lafayette, Louisiana, Brandt attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2009 earning a bachelor’s degree in Insurance and Risk Management. He also holds the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).

Brandt began his insurance career with Dwight Andrus Insurance in 2010. In 2019 he was named Vice President of Property & Casualty Sales. His responsibilities include sales and service of commercial property and casualty insurance and employee benefits (group health, dental, life, etc.). He leads a group of producers to help them navigate through the insurance process. His primary goal is tailoring an insurance program to fit each individual client’s needs. This is done by his experience and having very solid relationships with each insurance carrier he deals with.

During his time at Dwight Andrus, Brandt has developed a diverse client list specifically representing industries including food and seafood distribution and processing, transportation, oil and gas sector, site prep/dirt work contractors, healthcare and artisan contractors (landscaping, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).

Brandt is married to the former Sarah Meaders. He has one daughter, Ainsley, and two sons, Elliott and Samuel. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, especially on the golf course. He also enjoys giving his time back to the community by serving on the Board of the Louisiana Open and coaching football at Our Lady of Fatima.

George Guidry

Consultant

George Guidry began his insurance career in 1975 while majoring in Statistics at USL (now ULL) and he graduated with distinction in 1976. He became one of the first Accredited Advisors of Insurance (AAI) in the state of Louisiana and soon thereafter obtained his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) accreditation. George is a past president of the Independent Insurance Agents and Professional Insurance Agents organizations.

George’s Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics has facilitated his ability to forecast his client’s losses and consequently prevent and/or reduce those claims while he designed programs to take advantage of these forecasts. The results have saved his clients millions of dollars in premiums, so call him to find out if your company can benefit from George’s statistical analysis.

George has spent many of his weekends traveling to watch his five children make significant contributions on multiple sports teams, as his children compiled a total of 11 Louisiana state championships and set state, national and world records along the way. Many of his weekends are now spent watching his grandchildren on the sports fields.

David Hebert

Consultant

David Hebert joined Dwight Andrus Insurance in 1995 and serves as a Commercial Lines Producer. His responsibilities include bringing in new business and increasing insurance sales. David is also dedicated to developing strong relationships with clients to help ensure that they remain long-term customers.

David began his insurance career with New York Life in 1979 before transitioning into commercial insurance three years later. He earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1989.

David attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now UL Lafayette) and majored in Political Science.

David Koke, Jr.

Consultant

David has been with Dwight Andrus Insurance since 1989. A native of Lafayette, David graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now UL Lafayette). He is a licensed Property & Casualty and Life & Health agent. Having earned the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) in 1991, he actively maintains his credentials through continuing education.

David is married and the father of four children. Interested in the place he calls home, he has been, or presently serves, on the boards of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Acadiana, Cathedral-Carmel School, Beaver Club, St. Thomas More Foundation, St. Thomas More Advisory Council and Krewe of Gabriel. David and his wife Betsy are members of the Founders Society of the Community Foundation of Acadiana.

Hayden Marze

Consultant

Hayden Marze joined Dwight Andrus Insurance Agency in 2021 as a Commercial Lines Producer. He is a graduate of Westminster Christian Academy and went on to attend Louisiana State University at Eunice, Mississippi State, and Florida Southern College as a student athlete. Hayden earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 2018, then returned home to Louisiana. He has extensive sales experience in the Oil & Gas industry and aviation, and has developed many business relationships over the last few years. In Hayden’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Ashlyn and their daughter Landrie Paige. He also has a passion for the outdoors, with activities such as hunting and fishing.

Andrew Patin

Consultant

Andrew Patin, a Mandeville native, moved to Lafayette in 2010 for college at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. After Graduating from UL in the spring of 2015 with his degree in Insurance and Risk management, he joined the Dwight Andrus team to begin his career as a Property and Casualty producer. Although he is a property and casualty producer he is also licensed in Life and Health (Employee benefits – Group Health, Dental, Life, etc.) which adds to his ability to take care of his clients across the multiple sectors of business that he caters to (Construction, Site Prep / Dirt Work, HVAC Contractors, Electrical Contractors, Transportation, Manufacturing, Retail, Etc.). Continuing his education, he has also earned the designation of CIC Certified Insurance Counselor while working for the agency. Along with continued education he has developed and maintained strong lasting relationships with underwriters in the marketplace that help him create programs for his client’s specific needs in each of their own industries.

Andrew is married to the former Olivia Plauche, now Patin, and they are expecting their first child at the beginning of 2022. You can find Andrew spending most of his free time enjoying weekends with family and friends or somewhere in the outdoors hunting or fishing. He is also involved in various organizations across town such as Chitimacha Louisiana Open, CCA and Delta Waterfowl (Acadiana Chapter), where he gives time back to local organizations in the Acadiana area.

Harry Patin

Consultant

Harry Patin joined Dwight Andrus Insurance in 1991 and serves as a Commercial Lines Producer. His responsibilities include insurance sales and service with a specialization in large commercial accounts. Harry also has a great deal of expertise in providing insurance coverage for oilfield and marine clients.

Harry began his insurance career in property and casualty with a local independent agency in 1980. In 1990, he moved to New Orleans and worked for Johnson and Higgins (now Marsh McClennen) before accepting a position with Dwight Andrus.

Harry earned is designation as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and has received training in large deductible and marine programs. He also attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he studied General Business and Marketing.

Harry is happily married to Dru Patin. He enjoys playing golf in his spare time and serves as Chairman of the Louisiana Open Board.

James Sonnier

Consultant

Jim Sonnier joined Dwight Andrus Insurance in 1987 and serves as a Multi Line Producer. His responsibilities include sales and service of Life, Health, Personal, Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance for a variety of clients representing various industries.

Jim’s past work experience in the insurance industry includes claims supervision, risk management, maritime claims investigation and safety and was a prior agency owner.
Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now UL Lafayette) in 1972.

Blair Zuschlag

Consultant

Blair joined Dwight Andrus in 2005 and serves as a Commercial Lines Producer. His responsibilities include generating new business and sales and servicing of commercial property and casualty insurance for clients spanning a variety of industries including Aviation, Healthcare, Oil and Gas, Marine and General Insurance.

Blair is happily married to Sarah Zuschlag. They are the proud parents of a son Mason Brooks and daughters Charlotte Cecile and Millie Beth.

Christopher Bailey

Consultant

Chris Bailey joined Dwight Andrus Insurance in 2018 as an Employee Benefits Consultant. He began his career in the insurance industry 18 years ago with a Third-Party Administrator in Beaumont, Texas. With an MBA from Louisiana State University, he now has 18 years of industry experience focused exclusively on large group self-funded health plans. As a Consultant with Dwight Andrus, Chris is responsible for the co-leadership of our large group service team. His experience in underwriting, data analytics, contract negotiations, network development and on-site primary care provide our clients with thought leadership in the development of strategic short- and long-term employee benefit initiatives.

Andrew Boulet

Consultant

Andrew Boulet joined Dwight Andrus in 2018 and serves as a Producer and Consultant in the Employee Benefits division. Andrew provides expertise and knowledge when considering various benefit programs to offer his clients. He started with the agency as a Marketing Specialist, which gave him an understanding of the different policy offerings and how each of these can be beneficial to his clients. In this role, he has established a strong relationship with many insurance carriers to help leverage the best policies available at the most affordable cost.

Soon after he joined Dwight Andrus as a Marketing Specialist, he assumed account management responsibilities, where he served as the primary point of contact for current and future clients. His responsibilities included but were not limited to preparation of renewal information, handling specific client requests and maintaining communication throughout the year as needed. Because of his experience in both of these roles, he is armed with a great deal of knowledge and expertise to assess your company’s employee benefits needs.

Andrew is a 2015 graduate of Louisiana State University’s E.J. Ourso College of Business. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing with a specific concentration in Professional Sales. Before joining Dwight Andrus Insurance, Andrew worked in a management position with a financial services company overseeing the branch’s day-to-day operations, as well as its long-term growth and success.
He is also involved in the community and professional organizations including ASHRM (Acadiana Society of Human Resource Management) and AAHU (Acadiana Association of Health Underwriters) where he enjoys interacting with peers and professionals.

Andrew is originally from Houston, Texas, but has strong ties to the Acadiana area with both of his parents growing up in Lafayette. He is married to Katherine Picard Boulet and is the proud father to their son Cullen. In his free time he enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and his dog, Ellie.

Nick Forgey

Consultant

A native of Morgan City, Louisiana, Nick Forgey relocated to Lafayette to study at The University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration. Shortly thereafter, he began his career in the health and fitness industry with Complete Nutrition where he managed stores, traveled to the South Texas market for store implementation, employee training and customer sales procurement. He went on to own two franchise locations in Lafayette and Corpus Christi.

In 2019, Nick focused on his strengths in the sales industry as a Uniform Representative with Cintas where he cultivated new business for the company, established new accounts and initiated new business relationships which were then turned over to the customer management team.

Nick joined Dwight Andrus Insurance in 2020 as a Producer in the Employee Benefits Division and is part of a strong team of experienced insurance professionals. His stellar reputation, extensive sales experience, and the many business relationships he has developed since the beginning of his career are a great asset to the company.

In his free time, Nick enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three children. If he is not spending time with his family, you can find him at the gym lifting weights or at home reading a book involving personal development.

Christopher “JJ” Hebert

Consultant

Chris joined Dwight Andrus Insurance in 2015 as an Employee Benefits Producer and now serves as the Vice President of the Employee Benefits Division. Prior to joining the Dwight Andrus Insurance team, Chris was Principal of The Hebert Group, an independent health brokerage firm.

As a leader in the worksite benefits industry, Chris held the distinguished title of District Sales Manager for Aflac. During this time, he managed a sales team and built custom supplemental insurance products to enhance group clients existing health plans.

By establishing long-term relationships with employee benefits carriers, Chris has been successful in attracting new business and retaining existing clients through the design of comprehensive benefits programs.
Chris graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. He is married to Ava Tanner Hebert and is the proud father, and soccer coach, of three daughters.

Louanna Landry

Consultant

Louanna Landry joined Dwight Andrus in 2018 as a Producer/Consultant in the Employee Benefits Division. She focuses on the large group market and looks to bring innovative ideas in delivering a strong, sustainable employee benefits package to clients.

Louanna began her career in the insurance industry 20 years ago with a local TPA/Carrier. With her experience, she brings vast knowledge of plan administration, carrier negotiations, and cost reduction strategies.
Originally from Plaquemine, Louisiana, Louanna recently moved to the Lafayette area where she resides with her family.

Louis “Buddy” Mayeux, Jr.

Consultant

A native of Crowley, Louisiana, Buddy graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1978. He went on to attend USL (now ULL) where he earned a degree in Marketing. After graduating in 1982, he began his sales career with Lanier Business Products. His insurance career began in 1984 with Bill Keigley Insurance, an independent insurance agency in Crowley. Later that year, he purchased the agency which continues to operate successfully offering commercial and personal insurance to the local community. His responsibilities include overseeing a staff of four employees, managing company relationships and financial matters and sales.

Buddy holds both Property and Casualty and Life and Health licenses and is a licensed Notary Public.

Tad Richard

Consultant

Tad Richard serves as the Manager and Commercial Lines Producer at the Eunice location of Dwight Andrus Insurance. His responsibilities include managing all personnel and office functions, as well as working with clients to meet their unique insurance needs.

Prior to joining Dwight Andrus, Tad gained a great deal of invaluable experience working for Huval Insurance Agency from 1998 – 2001.
Tad is a graduate of McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana where he earned a degree in Accounting in 1990.

Brent Abshire

Consultant

Brent Abshire joined Dwight Andrus Insurance in 2001 and serves as a Producer. His responsibilities include bringing in new business and increasing sales of insurance products including commercial and personal lines, property and casualty, and life and health.

Prior to joining Dwight Andrus, Brent owned and operated Riceland Insurance Agency, Inc.

Brent is happily married to Missy Lemaire Abshire the the couple has three children – Brandy Gaspard, Brady Abshire and Brant Abshire. They are also the proud grandparents of Carly, Claire, Caroline, Kamyron and Ruby.

Ty Hopkins

Consultant

Ty Hopkins serves as the Manager / Commercial Lines Producer of the Kaplan location of Dwight Andrus Insurance. His responsibilities include overseeing a staff of eight employees, managing company relationships and financial matters, as well as serving as a liaison between the Kaplan and Lafayette offices.

Ty draws upon more than four decades of experience and expertise in the insurance industry. Prior to accepting his current position with Dwight Andrus, he owned and operated six insurance agencies in Lafayette, Kaplan, Rayne, Crowley, Church Point and Eunice. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Risk and Insurance. He has served in various board positions for Associated Risk Managers including state president in 1996 and 1997 and national president from 2004 – 2006.

Ty and his wife, Bonita, are the proud parents of three daughters and seven grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and flying remote controlled electric scaled airplanes with wingspans from five to seven feet. At 69 years of age, realizing he could not sing, dance, or play a musical instrument despite his love for music, he picked his best chance for success and began learning to play a keyboard. That has since evolved into a home recording studio where he composes original songs which are posted to the internet streaming service, SoundCloud. Ty also volunteers in his local church as chairman of the fundraising committee and as team leader for the men’s group.

Sutton Orenbaun, Jr. became a member of Dwight Andrus Insurance in January 2020. He currently works as an insurance Producer with the Shreveport branch providing quality insurance products and professional risk management services to the greater Ark-La-Tex area.

Specializing in a variety of industries, Sutton is well versed in the specific insurance needs of Transportation, Construction, and various Main Street businesses.

A native of Minden, Louisiana, Sutton attended and graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. He believes this background is the foundation for success that allows him to achieve effective and efficient results on his clients behalf.

Over the last 14 years, Sutton has been in the people business where he catered to the Industrial, Flooring, and Liquor industries. In this previous work life, he was able to consistently provide value to his clients by managing their profits through efficient product provision and supply chain management.

In Sutton’s free time, he enjoys the outdoors – everything from hunting and fishing to woodworking and beekeeping. It it’s outdoors, it’s his pace. Sutton now resides in Shreveport, Louisiana with his wife and son.

David Pettiette, Jr.

David Pettiette serves as a Group Benefits producer for Dwight Andrus Insurance in Shreveport, LA. Since joining the team in June 2021, David’s focus has been on installing strategies for employers to develop robust Employee Benefit Programs. David specializes in both fully insured and self-funded plans, that are cost-effective but also offer key benefits to recruit and retain top talent. Mr. Pettiette enjoys targeting a variety of industries to allow for an enhanced client experience to facilitate new Employee Benefit solutions.

As a Shreveport native, David holds a Business Administration degree from LSU-Shreveport. Prior to joining the Dwight Andrus team, Mr. Pettiette enjoyed a career in the oil and gas industry that spanned nearly a decade before transitioning to a Shreveport insurance firm about 5 years ago. These experiences coupled with his advanced technical skills provide David with a well-rounded platform to thoroughly evaluate the fundamentals of group benefits.

David is married to Lauren Sealy Pettiette and together they have one child. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, and tennis.”
